Outloud Let's Get Serious Album Review

  Greek/American melodic hard rock band Outloud‘s “Let’s Get Serious” is by far one of the best releases of the summer. On my personal list, it’s right up there with Red Dragon Cartel, Gus G’s “I Am the Fire” and Marty Friedman’s “Inferno”. If you are a fan of the 80’s, this album will definitely remind you of the good days, although it’s no rock n roll cliché. This album is packed full of melodies, and Bob Katsionis is king. His virtuosic guitar and keyboard skills are front and center, giving the listener an eargasm without overpowering the rest of the band. Chandler’s vocal performance is astounding. He paints the lyrical picture perfectly by singing with such emotion that makes you feel like you are a part of the song. The tracks on the album are diverse and don’t blend in together the way some albums do after the first couple minutes, and there isn’t a dull moment anywhere. Finally Back

It's been forever since I've updated, and this blog had pretty much died. But fear not, I have returned and decided to revive my passion. I've had some crazy times in my personal life, pretty drastic and tragic events which kept me away from here, but now things are some what stable and I am back in full force.  Moving forward... As well as album reviews, I plan on adding new content such as more interviews, concert reviews, a "band of the week" feature as well as your typical gossip and information about upcoming releases and of course, my random lists. I hope to gain a following and hopefully turn some people on to new (and old) bands, and fulfill my main goal of keeping metal alive. until next time! \m/
